Crispi, Enjoy the Outdoors
Founded n the early 70s by Alessandro Marcolin on the binomial quality and technology, nowadays Crispi Sport (Maser, Treviso) is one of the most qualified in the outdoor field. From this philosophy, the company creates soft boots made of first choice leather, with shock absorbing areas in the midsoles, to improve absorption of heel micro-shocks due to the gait and padded cuffs. 1975 is “Crispi Legend” birthday , the brand known, ever since, by “connoisseurs” for its top quality. Today, after 35 years, CRISPI is still loyal to this philosophy and produces high quality footwear. Crispi nowadays caters for a market of “specialists”, because it concentrates on producing niche items, to better exploit the technology and know-how acquired over the years. Hence, the diverse Crispi ranges: TELEMARK, of which Crispi is the world champion; ALTA MONTAGNA, and TREKKING which makes available to all mountain and outdoors lovers the experience and technology acquired in all these diverse sectors. From over 35 years, this successful binomial made the company become a world leather in all of its production niches, without any dazzling slogans or big promises- simply driven by a passion for quality footwear and the courage to put on the line the results it obtained in order to achieve constant improvement, model after model.
Note: interesting the model Enigma for SKI TOURING for a total weight of 950 gr! http://www.flickr.com/photos/59348268@N07/5448878716/

Gronell, Technical Mountain Boots from Verona
"I was born here in the heart of Lessinia (Verona, North Italy) and since I was a small child, I have loved the dawns and sunsets; the beauty and the secrets of the neighbouring mountains. Look, I am the one on the left in the old picture. Even as a young boy I began the craft that had been my father's, learning the artisan rules and the secrets of the materials. It was my passion to create and the first mountain shoes I crafted, I tested myself, throughout the woods and paths of my beloved mountains". Nello Grossule remembers with these words. In 1937, he began learning the age-old trade of the shoemaker and by crafting his first pair of mountaineering boots. At the present time Gronell is carried out by Nello's sons Fabio and Mario Grossule, in these years they have been able to match practice experience with scientific research as their father did. Impressive, for quality and (why not) price, is the so called 'Alpine' production: boots designed for professional mountaineering, suitable for use on high routes in the mountains, glaciers and ice climbing. These models are lasted to provide a precise fit, maximum sensitivity and great performance, tested in many himalayan expeditions. These products are guaranteed by the following testimonials: Silvio Mondinelli and Mario Merelli, but also Renzo Benedetti, Pierpaolo Rolle, Stefano Perrone and Didier Le Galle.
