Oggi la tecnologia ha rivoluzionato questo strumento, rendendolo: leggero, resistente e - soprattutto - pratico da riporre nello zaino. Settimana prossima vi farò scoprire un'interessante realtà delle nostre dolomiti attiva nella produzione di questo (ormai essenziale) strumento...

Expedition 2000, Alpin Down Jacket by Tecno Piumini

Ardesio è un piccolo comune della stupenda Val Seriana, incastonata nel cuore delle Alpi Orobiche, in provincia di Bergamo. Ed è qui che ha sede Tecno Piumini, marchio appartenente alla Azienda Piumino Orobico, nata nel lontano 1987 e che da allora produce abbigliamento sportivo in puro piumino d'oca. Capi tecnici utilizzati in numerose spedizioni dai seimila andini agli ottomila himalaiani da alpinisti del calibro di: Mario Merelli, Simone La Terra, Cristina Piolini e Lina Quesada.

Vi parlerò della giacca Expedition 2000, ottima per l'alpinismo estivo sulle alpi (oltre i 4000 metri) grazie alle sue caratteristiche tecniche e all'estrema leggerezza: 500 grammi in tutto!

La linea Expedition si completa con i modelli: Expedition 5000 ed Expedition 8000.
Come abbiamo scritto alcuni giorni fa: non per tutti l'estate significa alte temperature. Questo è soprattutto vero per chi si diletta nella salita dei quattromila metri nostrani. Ciò nonostante, salite di questo tipo nascondono insidie – non tecniche - troppo spesso trascurate come i bruschi cambi meteorologici con conseguenti forti abbassamenti di temperature.

Ed è in questi casi che avere con se l'Expedition 2000 può rivelarsi utile, se non vitale! Costituita al 100% di Puro Fiocco di piumino d'oca extra è ideale per temperature esterne fino a -15° C. La fodera interna in Soft Micro TF Technology è traspirante e permette che il calore corporeo venga trattenuto dalle piume stesse. All'esterno un robusto Rip-Stop 85 Tec WR in nylon impermeabile.

La giacca, sfruttando un'apposita tasca interna, può essere facilmente ripiegata riducendosi ad un sacchetto di 25 per 20 centimetri. Expedition 2000 è in vendita nello store-online aziendale per soli Euro 235, ottimo prezzo! Tre i colori disponibili: nero, blu e rosso.

Outside a robust Rip-Stop 85 WR Tec nylon fully waterproof.

The jacket, using a special big inner pocket, can be easily folded in a bag of '25 x 20' cm. Expedition 2000 is on sale in the company official web store for only 235 euros, great price, isn't it? Colors available: red, blue and black.

El Campeon: Ramón Julian Puigblanque (Arco2011)

Ramón Julian Puigblanque è il Campione del Mondo Lead. Incredibile la sua salita oggi, davvero impressionante. Senza esitazioni, dritto al top. Quelllo a cui Adam ha lanciato invano, quello che Jakob Schubert ha toccato ma non tenuto. Il lancio di Puigblanque invece entrerà nella storia. Chi non c’era non capirà mai fino in fondo cosa ha fatto Ramonette qui ad Arco stasera. Il pubblico del Climbing Stadium sì invece, l’ha capito perfettamente e l’ha premiato con una standing ovation memorabile. E’ lui il re del mondo e di Arco. Dopo Aviles nel 2007, è lui nuovamente il Campione del Mondo Lead!


Ramón Julian Puigblanque is the new Lead World Champion. His climb this evening was incredible, truly impressive. He climbed without hesitation, straight to the top. The top which Adam Ondra dynoed for in vain, the top which Austrian Jakob Schubert touched but didn’t stick. Puigblanque’s dyno will make history. Those who weren’t in Arco won’t ever fully comprehend what this man did here tonight. The spectators here in Climbing Stadium understood perfectly what he’d just done and rewarded him with a memorable standing ovation. He’s the king of the world and king of Arco. After winning in Aviles in 2007, once again Ramonette is the Lead World Champion!

Gronell, Technical Mountain Boots from Verona

"Sono nato qui, nel cuore della Lessinia (Verona, ndr) e fin da piccolo ho imparato ad amare albe e tramonti, segreti e bellezze delle vicine montagne. Guarda, io sono quello a sinistra nella vecchia fotografia. Così, Nello Grossule ricorda quando nel 1937 aiutando suo padre a riparare le scarpe apprendeva le tecniche di calzolaio ed iniziava a dilettarsi nella costruzione dei suoi primi scarponi da montagna. Attualmente Gronell è portata avanti da Fabio e Mario Grossule che, con la stessa passione del padre, hanno saputo coniugare l'esperienza pratica con la ricerca mantenendo saldo il nome del marchio.
Di particolare pregio la linea 'Alpine': scarpe sviluppate per l'alpinismo professionale che si adattano all'uso sulle alte vie in montagna, in ghiacciaio e per arrampicata su cascata.
